Unlockable: National Dex
Finish the Shinou Dex.

Unlockable: Pal Park
Acquire the national dex.

Unlockable Legendary Pokemon Heatran
This legendary can be male or female but cannot breed. Get your national dex and go to the island in the north and east. When you get to Stark Mountain, you must team up with someone to go through the place. The trainer will take the item and depart. Head back to the Survival Area, and your “partner” will be inside a house. Talk to her and she’ll leave.

You have only one chance to capture Heatran, so save the game first. Return to the mountain, and Heatran will be waiting. The pokemon is at level 70. Heatran can learn the following moves:

  • Level 1 – Ancientpower
  • Level 9 – Leer
  • Level 17 – Fire Fang
  • Level 25 – Metal Sound
  • Level 33 – Crunch
  • Level 41 – Scary Face
  • Level 49 – Lava Plume
  • Level 57 – Fire Spin
  • Level 65 – Iron Head
  • Level 73 – Earth Power
  • Level 81 – Heat Wave
  • Level 88 – Stone Edge
  • Level 96 – Magma Storm
  • Unlockable Eevee
Get an Eevee through one of two ways:

#1 Receive an Eevee from someone named Mizuki in Hearthome City

#2 Catch yourself a wild Eevee in the back of the Pokemon Mansion

    Unlockable: Black Trainer Card
You must win 100 times in a row at the Battle Tower.

    Unlock Manaphy (Pokemon Ranger)
Very many pokemon fans have wanted a chance to capture one of the rarest pokemon in sinnoh MANAPHY, but due to the fact that pokemon diamond and pearl do not have any availible manaphy in the ENTIRE GAME. So the easiest way for you to get a manaphy is for you to get the game Called POKEMON RANGER. This game has a mission that is available for you to play after you do a few things.

    (1) Beat the Pokemon Ranger game.

    (2) On the ranger net screen hold the buttons R, X, and the D-PAD LEFT (if you beat the game you will know what the ranger net is).

    (3) When the screen says enter password, input P8M2-9D6F-43H7 (Cap-sense is on).

    (4) Then at the special missions screen you will see a mission called RESCUE THE EGG. Tap on it then do the mission and get the egg, this will not be easy and will take a lot of time and effort but it all pays off at the end.

    (5) Borrow (or buy) a second Nintendo DS and the copy of Pokemon Diamond or Pearl you want the Manaphy on. The second DS should have Pokemon Ranger inserted. Go to the Ranger net with the Ranger DS and tap on CHECK THE EGG and then tap SEND MESSAGE. If your Diamond/Pearl DS is close enough to receive the message, you will get the Manaphy egg traded to you.

    Addendum:
    1. Turn on your other DS with the D/P cart.
2 Select the option to transfer Manaphy.
    3. Do the wireless ok’s and what not.
4 Go to the nearest mart with 5 pokemon or less to pick up your egg.

    Unlockable: Blue Trainer Card
You must defeat the Elite Four.

    Unlockable: Lucario Egg
After beating the fifth gym leader, you can SURF to the city that is next to Jubilife City X3. Be sure to have an empty slot in your Pokemon party. When you arrive, go across the bridge and down to the boats to sail to Iron Mountain.

There is a guy named Riley at the mountain that wants to cross the mountain with you. Take him along and fight through the mountain until you reach Galactic Grunts 1 and 2. Riley has a L34 Lucario. The grunts have a Glameow and Goldbat. Provided you win, Riley will give you an egg that hatches into an L1 Roilu after you travel 6500 steps (or so).

You can clear the step counter application for the Poketech and use that to count your steps. Roilu is the pre-evolved form of Lucario and when it loves you in the day time it will evolve. Feed Roilu its favorite flavor (Poffin) or train it to L30. If you have the friend application, check that to see if Roilu likes you or not.

    Unlockable Pokemon – Giratina
Giratina is a powerful DRAGON/GHOST type that can be found deep in Turnback Cave, a place that is said to overlap a different, darker dimension…Anyway, Giratina can only be found and fought once in the game. Be sure to save. Also, Giratina can only be found after obtaining the National Dex and beating the Elite Four. Be sure that is done. Turnback Cave is found in a previously secluded place called Sendback Springs.
    1. Make sure you have Rock Climb, and preferably Defog, because Turnback Cave is very foggy.
    2. Bring many Dusk Balls, Ultra Balls, or a Master Ball if you were saving it to get a very strong pokemon. Also, if you don’t want to fight lvl. 50 – 67 pokemon, grab some repels.
    3. Fly to Veilstone City, if you aren’t already there, then travel down the fence-maze area until you see a long, empty path stretching out to the right.
    4. Go and travel that path until you come to a rocky wall by two trees standing together.
    5. Use Rock Climb, and after the HM is done, you’ll be at a large, clear lake, very much like Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit’s lakes. Go to the very farthest north by the lake. There will be another rocky wall at the edge of the lake.
    6. Use Rock Climb again, and when the HM is done, you’ll be standing next to a cave entrance. Go inside.
    7. Congratulations, you have now entered Turnback Cave. Now for the trickiest part. There will be a rock wall ahead of you. Read the inscription.
    8. There apparently no set ways to get to Giratina, but it is only accessible by passing three pillars before you pass 30 rooms. Once you pass the 3rd pillar, and room you enter from here on in will be Giratina’s. Once you save before you face him, take notice of these things.

    Giratina’s moveset is:
    Heal Block
    Shadow Force
    Earth Power
    Slash

Giratina is level 70, so have a strong pokemon in your roster. After you catch it, which will most likely be a grueling experience, you can leave the cave. (not that you couldn’t before). If you want, you can train on some powerful pokemon, (wild lvl. range gets boosted by ten after each pillar is passed) collect a rare item, an infinite amount of items will appear in Giratina’s place after you either have caught it, or fainted it (rare bones, stardust) or you can take time to read this slightly ominous messsage engraves on the rock behind where Giratina used to stand.

    Hint – Cresselia
First, go to Canalave City (Cresselia is in both Diamond and pearl versions). Look for the boy in Sailor Eldritch’s house. Talk to the boy in bed and he will be saying something in his sleep, something about Darkrai.

Talk to the mother next to the boy in bed. Next go outside of the house and talk to the sailor next to the ship that takes you to Iron Island. He will say something about a Crecent Wing. Then he takes you to an island. On the island, there should be a clearing, go into it. Then you should see a pink-yellow pokemon.

Talk to it, and it will appear on your screen and will be added to your pokedex. then it will disappear. Its kindda like catching Mesprit.

If you did not get the pokemon leauge or get all the pokemon in the Shinoh Pokedex, you cannot catch Cresselia. Now if you did not get the pokefinder application, it will be much more difficult to catch Cresselia.

This is how you get the app, you have to go to the Poketech company in Jublife City, talk to theman next to the desk on the FIRST FLOOR, He gives you like 6 or 7 apps, the pokefinder app is the second or third one he gives you, YOU CAN GET THEM ALL IN THE SAME DAY! Now, good luck catching Cresselia, oh and one more thing, i think altering between route 205 and the Valley Windworks isthe best way to use. And you should stock up on MANY quickballs. Happy hunting!

    Mystery Gift
This is how to get a mystery gift:
    1. Go to the Jubilife TV station in Jubilife City.
    2. Go to the 3rd floor.
    3. Talk to the man in the lower room (he’s on the left).
    4. The first two words you tell him are ”everyone” and ”happy”.
    5. the second two words are ”wi-Fi” and ”Connection”. This will then unlock the Mystery Gift feature on the main menu.

When you go into it you can recieve your gift 3 ways:

  • Friend
  • Wireless
  • Wi-fi (kinda) — while you won’t get a gift from this cheat, just get the option to receive it, but when pokemon announces when the mystery event will be, go receive wifi and if you are lucky, you might receive a mystery gift/ legendary pokemon/ wicked sweet area/ ticket/ member pass.
  •

    Hint – Mining Clue
When you get the explorer kit from the old man in Eterna city (the house beside the pokemon center) use it and go underground. On your upper DS screen there are yellow glowing dots flashing on and off. Go up to one on the upper screen and look at the bottom screen. Click on your bottom screen to search for the glowing dot. When you find a glowing dot (only in walls) go up to it and click A. Then you will be in the digging screen, And use the hammer or pick axe. When you dig you will see 4 layers:
  • A rock
  • A dark brown spot
  • A lighter brown spot
  • the wall (which is un brake-able)
when you see a light brown layer with a crack in it, look carefully through that crack. If it has a white spot ignore it (wall). If the spot has a different color click the spot because something is hidden there.
  •

    Easter Egg – Ghost Gang
You must have the HM Cut, as well as the Forest Badge, to find this easter egg. Use Cut on the trees near the exit to Eterna Forest to discover a path to a mysterious mansion. There are two rooms that hold spooks: One is the dining room downstairs and the other is upstairs on the far right, but you can only see it from the adjacent room to the left.

If you have a GBA game in slot 2 of the DS or the National Dex, you can get a Haunter and Gengar in the room with the “eyed portrait” that seems to look at you if you back away from it, or a Rotom in the 2nd floor TV (respectively).

Hint – Lots of Masterballs (or Other Items)
After you obtain the National Dex in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, you can go to Pal Park, where you migrate Pokemon from a Gameboy game to your DS cartridge. So, clone a million masterballs or other items on Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red, Leaf Green, or Emerald, give them to pokemon, migrate the pokemon, and viola, millions of that item on Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
Hint – Eevee At the Pokemon Mansion
First you must get your national pokedex by spotting every pokemon in the Sinnoh region. Afterwards head to Pro.Rowan and the rest will be simple from there.

After getting your national pokedex, head to the pokemon mansion. Instead of going in the trophy garden, talk to the owner of the the trophy garden. He will ask you two questions and you must answer yes to both questions. Every morning when you talk to him he will ask you the same two questions, and after you answer his questions, he will tell you what pokemon he saw in his garden that morning. Some of the pokemon are: marill, meowth, cleffairy, and eevee.

Keep going to him everyday until he say that he saw some Eevees in his garden this morning. When he does, then you go in the garden and you will find your eevee. It may take you a minute to find the first one but you will be able to catch a few.

    Hint – Spiritomb
To get Spiritomb, go to Solaceon Town and go downwards until you see a well-type looking thing. That is the Hallowed Tower, when you press ‘A’ on it, it will say:

    It’s the Hallowed Tower.
It appears to have been built
    many years ago.

If it asks you to put in an ‘Odd Keystone,’ say yes. If you already have done so, go down underground with a friend, and have him/her go into his/her secret base and keep coming out and greet you.

Do this 32 times, go back up to the Hallowed Tower, and you will find Spiritomb. It is level 25, and you DO NOT have to see Spiritomb from the Champion Cynthia, I know becuase I did it. You can also do this with Odd Keystones more than once if your friends give you more. I only know of 2. The one by Hearthome City, there’s a Karate guy to the left, beat him and talk to him, and the one below.

Already sold your Odd Keystone? No worries, there’s another one. Fly to TwinLeaf Town, go down to the water, surf until you get to the middle, then go all the way left and press ‘A’ on the crack in between trees. If you’re having trouble finding it, use your item radar PokeApp which is PokeApp #7.

    Hint – Drifloon
Go to the valley Windworks afterwards on an in-game Friday. Drifloon will pop in and out when you search for on in the grass. Try to use a quick-ball to capture it since it will run away at the first chance it gets. You can also set your DS’ internal clock to a Friday and re-attempt a failed capture.

You do not have to beat the Elite Four and have all badges; you just have to beat the guy with the planet name, and rescue the guy whom his daughter comments “You smell bad” near the Valley Windworks.

You have to catch it on Friday, but Drifloon does not run away. It is like a legendary, you can see its 3D picture and you just have to press the A button in front of it.

It also will be there EVERY Friday, so if you fail, there are tons of more chances to get it.

Grand Theft Auto IV Video Review

Here’s a great video review I found on YouTube. Its done by Mysteriouskk. Enjoy!

Grand Theft Auto IV – Rockstar – Xbox 360, Ps3

The best free-roaming game is back, and this time, we’re re-visiting Liberty City!

The story is you, Niko, a Serbian immigrant, have just got off the boat into liberty city, inticed by your cousin’s boasts of how he’s made it into the bigtime. Soon realise that he actually lives in a cockroach infested flat and owns a partime taxi service. So you try and help him make it in the world, whilst helping yourself….

Truthfully, you dont really need the story, due to all the things you can do; you can take taxi rides, go swimming (no more underwater crap like last time we went to Liberty City…) take trams, do hitman like missions, eat out, go to a club, get drunk (there’s a hilarious drunk driving game), steal helicopters and basically be a nuisance for the police!

Rockstar has now even introduced multiplayer to GTA, with some sweet multiplayer games, my favourite being ‘cops and crooks’. Here, the crooks try and get their boss to safety while the police try to kill you all. This leads to intense cat and mouse chases and nail biting endings (like jumping onto the boat just before the cops careen into you).

The fighting system hasn’t changed that much from the previous games. The most noticable extra is that now you can now hug cover like in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (see our review) and either spray bullets wildly, or use precise shots.

The graphics for GTA IV are stunning. I have never seen Liberty City in so much detail!

Unlike most ‘revisit’ games, where everything’s exactly the same and the makers have just conned you out of £35, GTA IV takes a new look at Liberty City, with all the stuff from the last games and more. This is a must for free-raoming fans.

    RATING: 95%

-The only disapointment here is that there is still that ‘dont cross the bridge to the new area until you’ve completed all missions’ thing!!

Advance Wars: Days Of Ruin – Chapter 17: The Creeper Guide

Advance Wars: Days Of Ruin is one of my favourite games. I, and my team know a fair bit about how to conquer the missions, too. Mission 17 proved to be very hard, with many people asking for a guide for this mission backing up this fact. This is why I created this guide. It took a lot of typing, thinking and playing. I hope you enjoy.

The map here is dominated by a huge enemy unit, the Talon Gun, at the center of the map. It has an area-of-effect attack that will damage anything that gets close to it. The win conditions here entail either destroying all the enemies or the Talon Gun itself, but it will be pretty much impossible to do the former. Talon Gun, you’re going down! You’re going to need a lot of bombers to pull this off…

    Day One

Load a mech or infantry unit into the northern t-copter and drop it on the northern factory. This northern area won’t be critical to your war effort, but you want to hold it and the buildings around it for the cash that they’ll give you.

To the south, move your tank and other units into the small suite of properties down there. You can load one of the infantry units onto the rig and drop it off on the factory here, while the other infantry can start making his way to the airport. Build another infantry at the factory near your HQ and start moving him to the northern properties, as well.

    Day Two

You should be able to begin capturing the southern factory and airport on this day. Begin capturing the northern factory as well, and move your t-copter back to pick up the other infantry unit in the north.

Your units in the south need to be positioned at this point. Move the rockets onto the uncaptured city one spot to the west of the factory that you’re capturing down there; that’ll give it domain over the approach from the west and prevent most enemies from approaching. That stasis will persist throughout much of the game, allowing you to build up your forces without much threat of attack from the enemy.

If you like, you can build another set of rockets in your rear factory on this day. You can overlap the firing radii of the two rockets along the southern approach to effectively prevent the enemies from ever approaching you.

    Day Three

Continue capturing the properties in the north and south, and drop your infantry unit in the t-copter to the north on one of the airports there. The enemy will also be cranking out infantry to capture the cities on their side of the map, but there isn’t much you can do about that except let them. They will eventually come for the northern properties, though, so you’ll want to quickly capture them and eventually build a rocket or w-tank to help dissuade them from their approach.

    Day Four

Complete capturing your stuff, then build a unit in the northern properties to help protect them. The enemy will be sending a b-copter and infantry your way, so an anti-air unit or two might be the best option here; just park it on a city that you’ve captured and maybe follow it up with a fighter if necessary. You don’t need to build an army here to expand westward; you’re just concentrating on holding these properties against the enemy forces.

Elsewhere, you should have enough cash to begin building bombers. (You may also want a fighter positioned to the north to encourage the b-copter and various air units that your enemies build to stay away from you.) You’ll need three or four of them to begin your assault on the Talon Gun. Be sure to load your CO, Tasha, on to one of the bombers. Start positioning your bombers so that they’re just outside the firing range of the enemy missiles to the south of the Talon Gun. It can be very difficult to set this up right, since the enemy will usually begin constructing fighters when they see that you’re building up your bomber groups; be sure to protect the areas where your bombers are forming up with missiles.

If everything goes perfectly well, we found that it was best to move in first with your CO-commandeered bomber and destroy one of the anti-tank units right off the bat, then follow through with another bomber to destroy the missiles below the Talon Gun. Your bomber will need to be where the missiles were to attack the Talon Gun; a full-health bomber will take off 75% of its health in one shot. On the Talon Gun’s turn, it’ll take off half the health of any unit in its firing range, so your bombers will take a lot of damage, but if you have even a single one left, it should be capable of finishing off the Talon Gun.

Note that, if the air force approach doesn’t work for you, you can definitely try amassing an army of w-tanks and rockets, with some fighters to protect them, and attempt to roll in that way. The limited mobility of ground units will make this a bit more difficult, however.

Terrorists get mullered in sin city!!!!

We all know the legendary franchise Rainbow Six. Now it’s all changed; but for the better, or for the worse…

This time, your mates don’t just die on you (hoorah!); they usually get wounded and need to be hit with adrenaline before continuing the fight. Also, the covers evolved. This means you can now hug against walls and either fire blindly (inaccurate but safe) or lean out and shoot (more accurate but more dangerous) at the terrorists. I, for one, am a ‘shoot blindly and use up your ammo in a beserke fashion’ person, which is why I always play and lose shooting games… Also, you can change your characters appearance, weaponry and armor depending on how well your doing in close combat, marksmenship and assault.

The game also has a wide arrange of multiplayer games such as deatmatch, team deatmatch, one where both teams must protect their leader and so on.

I loved this game because of the sheer amount of choices you can make. Strategy is a key here. Say, if there’s a team holed up in a second story room, why not get one team mate to bomb one door while you go through another into their room, whilst two more of your mates smash through the windows with another one of your mates sniping from a nearby building. But they might decide to charge on of the doors and blow it up in your face as some repel down to the first floor and flank you while their hidden player takes out your sniper and fills you full of lead. That’s strategy at full blast!

The graphics for Vegas 2 are, as always, amazing.  The same can be said for the gameplay as well, sharing an even amount of action with strategy. There has been a long wait for this game, and I think it was well worth the countdown.

Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock – Neversoft – Wii

Not everyone is acquainted with the original plastic guitar rhythm-game phenomenon, least of all hardened nintendo fans who’ve never owned a console that supports it. I’m really glad to see this on the Wii.

For a first-time effort the Wii’s guitar peripheral certainly packs a punch. It’s powered off the remote itself – killing the wireless and battery issue birds in one stone – and applies remote gizmos that no other version can. It’s the remote rumble that most adds to the experience, shaking the whole guitar shell with surprise force when you’ve built up your star power. It’s particularly handy in the newly added two-player battle where a rumble informs you that a power up is waiting to tumble the other players flow; a mode that fits in brilliantly with the classic Nintendo multiplayer focus on underhand power-up usage.

Musically, you’re dealing with the same play list across all consoles. However, the mix of the old (Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones) and new (Muse, Tenacious D), and the sheer amount of master tracks used makes this one the most complete Guitar Hero to date.

Uh, oh, Tameriel calls for a Champion… Again!

I’ve put over 60 hours of my life into Oblivion. I’ve cured vampirism, cleaned the world of Daedra, and pranced around on the equine equivalent of a ferrari.

Now, after the near-extortion that was the the Horse Armour  mod (a whopping 200 gamer points!) and more reasonable additions like Mehrune’s Razor and the Wizards Tower comes Knights – the first genuine expansion.

There are no extra lands here (boo!), but you do get to rooam Cyrodiil in search of Wayshrines, parley with Pelinal Whitestrake and reinstate a legendary religious order before banishing dark sorcerer Umaril back into the abyss. There’s also a dangerous new foe in the shape shape of the Aurorans and some spangly new armour and weaponry.  Knights Of Nine isn’t in the same league as stellar Morrowind add-ons like Tribunal and Bloodmoon, but any fresh reason to revisit Oblivion once again is all right by me…

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves – Nintendo – Wii

Twice the fun of other games, half the dignity…

This isn’t a game; games have controls, combos, rules, plots, tutorials and buttons. Smooth Moves doesn’t even use buttons! Well, only one and then only sometimes. Instead, everything in this primary coloured, playground assault on the senses is controlled with a flick of the wrist, wave of the arm or shake of the hips. It’s not a standard piece of software because anyone can play, everyone can play, everyone will play. It’s just good, old-fashioned fun.

The formula hasn’t changed though. Mini-games are vomited straight at you with barely a break; brrrrring! Waaahaaaaa! Smash! Ting! Cow’s bums need wiping, monsters need shooting and giant fingers need sticking up giant 3D noses. But just like Touched and Twisted! it’s the change in controls that has changed the game, giving new athletic anarchy to familiar challenges. For instead of twitching a thumbstick to put the dentures back in some old dear’s trap, you wave the remote to shove those gnashers into that gaping gob.

And as the game changes, so does your grip. Often you’ll hold the wii-mote like a pen, or balance it in your palm, or grip it sideways, or shake it like a polaroid picture. And if that all sounds a bit obvious, how about putting your hand over the sensor and jiggling it up to spray champagne around? Or even testing out those controversial wrist straps by dropping the controller?

It’s not subtle either, just imagine being repeatedly smashed over the head with a  squeaking toy mallet while a gang of inebriated Fimbles cavort to the mashed up theme tune from Balamory. And if you play alone for more than an hour you’ll get tired of the 2D graphics and and the 1D action. And it’s then, when the games start to repeat, and you’ve seen all of the new moves, that problems start to emerge.

Firstly, it’s not as quick as other Wario Wares; the need to change your grip and too many many long, slightly dull and mostly silent stories ensure that. Secondly and crucially, the game has problems reading certain movements, mostly when you have to shove towards or away from the screen. It happens with other moves too and while this problem only affects about 10 percent of the games, it’s massively frustrating when you are down to your last life but can’t catch that falling woman, shift the hole under the bloke or shred the top-secret document.

But get some friends in, get sweaty, get a little giddy and the fun is magnified ten-fold. From the teamwork of the syncronised jumping of Bungee Buddies to the competitive edge of Balloon, friends are what saves Smooth Moves from being just a neat novelty. And the effect is almost magical as everyone, from hyped-up screaming kids to suave scandinavian businessmen giggling in their designer glasses, will play happily and unselfconciously, unaware that what they’re enjoying so much is a game at all.

    Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast – SEGA – Psp, Ps2, Xbox, Pc

Riding along the road with your girlfriend with the light sparkling off your newly bought ferrari. Life is good. That’s what Outrun’s all about.

In Outrun, the aim is to get to the end of the course with as many points as possible. There are different modes too, like Heart Attack mode. This is where you try to get across the course whilst doing whatever your girlfriend says. This means doing stuff like dribbling a giant ball, or crashing into as many cars as possible.

The whole game is mostly unchanged from the original game, exept maybe the tracks. The way that all the stages are set out in a large triangle is still the same and is very effective. And if you don’t want to take ages trying to reach the stages on the further end of the pyramid before the time runs out, just explore them on their own on Time Trial mode.

As well as being able to unlock loads of cool looking ferraris, there is also some music to unlock, including some from the original games!

And if you want to play one of the classic Outruns, Outrun SP is also available to play! It is pretty much the same, but with different stages. Better one’s, if you ask me…

Overall, Outrun 2006:  Coast 2 Coast is a good game, with good graphics and an amazing sense of speed. I have always loved this game and always will.

    Ninjabread Man – Metro3D – Ps2, Wii

    Videogame food poisoning….

Just because you’ve come up with a funny name for a game doesn’t mean you should actually make it. The Ninjabread Man is a garish, pig-ugly, barely animated, slip-slidy controlled, angriyingly unplayable mess of a platformer. I’ve been playing games for over 20 years  – and it took me almost another 2 decades to get off the first level of this, mainly because the slightest nudge of the analogue stick or Wiimote makes the edible hero scamper off a high ledge! Yes, it’s the platformer hero who doesn’t know how to deal with platforms; he can’t even walk along a flat surface properly! I saw this in Game for £20! This isn’t even worth 20p of your cash. run away from Ninjabread Man as fast as you can!

Worms Open Warfare 2 Puzzle Guide

Worms is a classic game, and the series’ puzzles are renowned for being difficult. That is why I have published this guide for them. It was created by Zarlyn and is very helpful.

    Level 1 – Kill

There are 5 enemy worms on this level and it’s pretty straight forward.
Fire punch the first guy off the edge into the water.  Use dynamite to
get the guy below you.  Bazooka the guy to your left, just full power
at a horizontal line and it should kill him.  Use an air strike to get
the far left worm.  To get the last worm just throw a 4 second grenade
at half power at a 45ø up angle.

    Level 2 – Kill

This time you have 2 worms to kill and they are on the far side of the
map.  Inch your way to the edge over the first mine and jump across,
repeat as necessary (5 mines).  Back flip your way up the barrels and
ledges to the top.  Here is where your timing matters.  Move down to
the bump before the flat surface the mine is on.  Jump over the mine,
immediately after move down and jump the second mine and again across
the gap.  Pick up the dynamite and the rest should be easy to figure
out.  However for those who are mentally strange… Drop the mine off the
cliff and watch the worms fly.

    Level 3 – Kill

2 More worms to destroy, fire a bazooka shot as near vertical as you
can without hitting the bump at about 75% power.  Now I don’t know what
the target is for but I like to blow it up anyways, shoot at 45ø right
at full power and it should blow it up.  Adjust if necessary.   For the
last worm stay at the same angle and fire at 2/3 power.

    Level 4 – Exit

Start by jumping to the ledge and grab the girder.  Place it however
you want to get across the ledge, I just put is flat with no gaps.
Pickup and use the 2 shotgun shots to blast a hole in the pole.  Grab
the health and walk of the ledge (do not jump!).  Grab the bunker
buster and parachute and hide your worm on a ledge.  Use the bunker
buster to drill a hole in the ice and use the parachute so you don’t
die and just squirm to the exit.

    Level 5 – Exit

Squirm your worm along to the edge (DO NOT JUMP, YOU WILL DIE!) and
jump across the gap (being in space the low gravity will carry you
across).  Squirm to the edge again and back flip to the next area.
Jump across the mines here, you should have no trouble of them
detonating.  Move to the edge and back flip to the next area.  From
here you can just normal jump up to the next one, move across, and jump
again.  Grab the parachute, then do a back flip and at the peak of the
jump deploy the parachute, holding left the whole time, you should make
it safely to the other side.  Normal jumping doesn’t seem to work.
    Move into the exit.

    Level 6 – Crates

Start by just jumping to your left.  Move back up to the middle of the
platform, jump left again, repeat, repeat again.  Grab the teleporter,
and teleport to the top platform on the other side.  Do the same thing
down this side; don’t worry as long as you don’t do a back flip you
    won’t die.

    Level 7 – Exit

This one is pretty straight forward.  Since you can’t move and the only
weapon you have is a mine, drop it to your right and watch… You’ll stop
on a ledge, so you’ll have to drop another mine to your left this time.
You will make it to the end with a “Bang!”

    Level 8 – Kill

This one is simple, the magnet in the middle is set to repel.  Just use
your teleporter to go straight above where your start in the middle
then just drop mines at about a 45ø angle from the magnet and watch
    them fly.   Adjust if necessary.

    Level 9 – Kill

This one can be done in 2 ways.  I go right up against the wall on your
right, while facing the wall do a back flip, at the peak of the flip
let the sheep go.  It should make it over the wall if you do it right.
The other way I found if your lucky is you can do a back flip onto the
wall if you find the right place (I’ve only done it once) and just walk
close and throw the sheep in.  However it’s much more entertaining to
watch the sheep jump the gaps itself, remember to detonate it at the
    right time though.

    Level 10 – Kill

5 words, Full, power, to, the, right.  Wow, shortest mission in history.

    Level 11 – Kill

This mission can also be done 2 ways, you can be lame and walk all the
way down and get blasted then blast him (skip to your 200 hp worm if
you choose this), or fire punch your 200 hp worm down the hill to your
left and mine the enemy worm.

    Level 12 – Kill

This one is pretty simple, but can be messed up easily.  With your
first worm, grab the girder and place it at a slight angle (pressing X
once should work).  MOVE HIM OUT OF THE WAY!  With your worm with 1 hp
climb the girder and do a back flip off of it to land right next to the
worm.  The explosion of you dieing should kill him too.

    Level 13 – Exit

Start off by jumping onto the first barrel.  Stand on the right side of
it (not on the very edge you’ll bounce into the water), and shoot down
with the shotgun.  Repeat 2 times.  Jump of the ledge to the right and
deploy a parachute, the moment it opens hold left.

    Level 14 – Crates

Throw a boomerang to either side, jump onto it, throw one on the other
side, and repeat until you get out.  Now from here this level doesn’t
like me, you’ll have to find the measurements and power for yourselves
because of the wind.  Though it isn’t that hard because you have
unlimited boomerangs and no time limit so have fun with that, just
remember to call the rang back to you if you get the box. ^_^

    Level 15 – Exit

Yes that worm is supposed to die at the beginning.  Start by placing a
girder to the left of the crate that is down and to the left, grab the
blowtorch and go at a downward angle into the hole.  Grab the lightning
strike and use it to revive your dead worm (yes, lightning does revive
dead people … for safety purposes and respect for the dead don’t try
    it, it doesn’t really work…).

    Level 16 – Crates

Place girders from the bottom of the ramp to your right to right under
yourself (in a straight line, don’t slope them).  Place one more girder
even with the bottom of the cove on the other side of the ramp (also in
a straight line).  Throw your buffalo onto the first girder and watch
it.  One buffalo should make it all the way, no need to detonate him
(if you can, I’ve never tried to detonate a buffalo before).

    Level 17 – Kill

Jetpack up to the ledge above you and fire punch the magnet TO THE
    RIGHT and watch the show.

    Level 18 – Kill

Place 2 girders on either side vertically just above the mines and with
the tops level with the platform your standing on.  Fire punch the
magnets to the side they are closest to.

    Level 19 – Kill

Basically just place a girder anywhere you think the sheep might get
stuck then let it go.  It can kill the worm down any path except the
    middle.

    Level 20 – Kill

This one just face to the right, and tap the fire button with the
grenade.  Then just place girders wherever it goes into the water.
That’s about all the help I can give you (I can’t find an
understandable way to tell you where to place the girders).

    Level 21 – Kill

This level I use the strategies from 2 of the previous levels, and you
need to time it well.  First jump onto the left side of the barrel
(remember?), and shotgun yourself onto the ledge.  Now here is where
you can try different things but the only sure way I’ve found you have
to have good timing.  I’m not sure if you can just back flip and
release like before, because it has never worked for me.  I back flip
ONTO the ledge, turn around drop the sheep, and drop back before the
turret shoots me.  Then just wait and you can either blow the sheep
after the magnet, or just let it get the worm.  If you decide to use
the magnet, before you drop the sheep put your girder to the left of
the worm so the magnet doesn’t fall out.

    Level 22 – Crates

Place your first 250 hp worm on the very edge of the first barrel, and
the other on the other side.  Use one of their turns to place a girder
on either the right or the left under the ledge so that you can get the
1 hp worm underneath and use a sheep DIRECTLY below the barrels.  Use
the next 2 turns to pick up the barrels.

    Level 23 – Kill

I don’t understand how you’re supposed to do this with the mine and the
magnet, but how I do it is much easier to understand.  Just back flip
up the ledges and when you get to where the mine is place your girder
halfway between the edges.  Then just jump across and squirm down and
fire punch the worm into the water.

    Level 24 – Kill

Use a girder to get to the upper ledge.  Move all the way into the
corner and use a blowtorch going down, when you get directly under the
mine start going back up.  Use another girder to get onto the next bump.
Move over to the first worm and blowtorch him off, be careful not to
fall with him.  Go to the very edge and you’ll land right in the middle
of the platform.  Blowtorch him off too.

    Level 25 – Exit

Move over to the left and back flip up by your buddy, fire punch him
off.  Use this guy to move above the mine and jump back before it
explodes.  Then just inch off the edge and you’ll land in the exit.

The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass: Spirit Gem Guide

Howdy all! Today I’m going to share with you a FAQ about where every Spirit Gem can be found in Phantom Hourglass. This FAQ was created by Super Slash and is very helpful. Thanks Super Slash!!!

    ================
    I. Introduction
    ================

This FAQ was made because many people seem to have trouble with finding all of
the Spirit Gems in the game, so I decided to make it. Please note that you
shouldn’t email me about me being too vague with the locations or something,
because I did the best I could to type them up. Feel free to email me with
corrections or something, though. With that said, let the guide begin.

    ——————————————————————————-

    ====================
    II. Spirit Gem List
    ====================

In this section, I will list the locations of the Power, Wisdom, and Courage
Gems in the game. These are also known as Spirit Gems. What are their use, you
ask? Well, south of Molida Island is a hidden island known as the Spirit
Island. There, you can trade in your Spirit Gems to gain new abilities for
Link, which can be really useful. There are 20 of each gem, To find the Spirit
Island, sail south of Molida Island to locate a hidden island by the three-rock
    formation.

wall on the way there. Enter the cave and go to the end of it,

bridge and defeat the enemy there, then continue outside. Head up
the stairs and you’ll find Freedle. Go east of him to find a chest
                 with it inside.

    ——————————————————————————-

    Wisdom Gem #2
Location: Temple of the Ocean King

How To Find: Head to B2 of the temple, and to the northwestern corner. Place a

where the laser is, then enter the cave that appeared. Go to the

The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess – Nintendo – Wii

You’ve got the horse, you’ve got you’re sword in hand (well, the Wii remote). Now go save Hyrule…

Twilight Princess opens in the easy, friendly enviroment of Ordon Village where all you have to worry about is herding goats, catching fish and entertaining small, cute children. But anyone who has played a Zelda game before will know that big trouble is ahead and an enormous adventure will begin. That’s the best bit about a Zelda game; it’s like the beginning of the summer holidays. There’s masses to look forward to – dungeons to explore, entire provinces of Hyrule to find, colourful characters to talk to, secret caves to uncover and puzzles that stretch every skill as a gamer.

That said, the start of your adventure is stilted in Twilight Princess a little bit. It’s like if that bit in Gladiator when Maximus shouts ‘At my signal… Unleash hell!’ was followed up by him needing to learn how to use his sword first. The new big big thing in Zelda for the Wii is the control system. While Link himself is controlled nunchuk analogue stick and the game’s z-targeting stays the same, sword slashing is caried out vertically or horizontally slicing with the Wii remote, and the spin attack by shaking the nunchuk. All of this is actually very simple to carry out – well, as long as your wrists aren’t really weak. What is annoying is is how the A button is sometimes used to select things then sometimes used to go back to item and inventory screens. By the time you’ve reached a section halfway through the game when you’re using your boomerang to put out fires, sword to slash enemies off their horses and your bow and arrow to take out flying creatures, you already feel like you have developed the dexterity of a drummer in a heavy metal band. But you’re still sometimes accidentally arming yourself with an empty bottle and putting your iron boots on in the heat of battle.

Regardless though, the controls still work a million times better than I thought they would. You can still play whilst lounging on the sofa – you just need to point the remote at the screen to target enemies hook something with your clawshot. Physically slashing enemies is hugely satisfying – especially if you’ve just fallen to your death three times in a row and need to take your anger out on something. Even the controllers vibration and built in speaker are used to effectively engage you in the game even more – when you’re riding Epona it gently and rythmically vibrates whilst playing the clopping of hooves.

Zelda is a perfectly scripted film. It pulls you in with it’s endearing characters, arms you up with some basic skills, then sends you off to fight some evil monsters. It’s a slow builder – the first dungeon, which has you finding and rescuing monkeys is overly long with a steep leaning curve – but before you know it you’re consumed with completing your next quest. The possiblities of where you can go and range of solutions to puzzles grow to almost mind-boggling proportions as you progress through the game. As soon as you buy underwater bombs you cdan go swimming under Lake Hylia, blowing holes in rocks to reveal hidden caves. Once you have a ball and chain you can smash through ice. When all the shadow beings have been found you can warp from wolf to human at will.

Ocarina Of Time let you travel through time with a musical instrument; in windwaker you had a boat. Twilight Princess’s new twist is that link has somehow found himself taking on the appearance of a wolf. To start with, he has no control to when he transforms, but he eventually reins in the ability and it can be used at will. As a wolf, Hyrule looks completely different. Doors can’t be opened but tunnels can be dug. Humans run from you but you can now talk to dogs, cats and hilariously – chickens. It’s a beautifully implemeted thing – one minute a fluffy white cat will be leading wolf Link to a secret in her owner’s house, the next you’ll be talking to the cat’s owner as Link whilst the cat mews at her side. It’s as if Hyrule exists as two worlds – one for people, one for animals. That’s as well as the fact that it exists in the Twilight World – a stylised alternative universe where where you are invisible to humans but able to see spirits. In wolf form you can even activate special senses and follow bright luminous trails of scent to your next target through your dark, foggy surroundings.

There’s all this and the dungeons. There are nine in total – and each one is a daunting challenge. You go from a sand temple to a snowy mountain to an underwater world, so every one is completely different. But it’s not only appearances that are different; they all call for different skills and Items and they all teach you new things just by forcing you to experiment. the best are like the puzzle equivalent of works of art. No game does exploration and puzzle solving like Zelda does – everything just falls into place in ‘ta da!’ fashion as you put more hours into reaching new rooms and finding vital keys. You regularly spend an hour just trying things out and back-tracking to see if you’ve missed something, but the solution is always within your grasp and usually right in front of your face. The learning curve is steep, there are a few bits that will exasperate you in a ‘how the hell was I supposed to do that!’ way and it’ll be an elite group that makes it to the end without a walkthrough or any other kind of help, but put it side by side with one of EA’s most hand-holding games and I know which I’d want to play. It’s a game for real gamers and also an adventure you’d be mad not to embark on – enormous, amazing and well worth the interminable delays.
