Loco Roco – Sony – Psp

Loco Roco is one of the cutest games I have ever seen! Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute!!!! And completely insane!

In the game, the aim is to gather as many Loco Rocos  as you can from around different and beutifully insane worlds to keep in your Loco house. You do this by eating fruit that can be found in the levels. There are also lots of house parts that can be found in secret areas so you can customise your Loco Roco’s home! This may sound easy, but it is not! The reason is because the only buttons you use are the L and R ones! You heard me – you use the L button to tilt the entire world left, and the R to tilt it right. The Loco Rocos then roll through the worlds!

There are six different types of Loco Roco to collect – Yellow ones (which you start off with), Pink ones, Blue ones, Red ones, Black ones and finally the Green ones! Each of these creatures handle pretty much the same, but look different. Also, each type of Loco Roco has it’s own theme music!

The graphics of this game are very simple and the colours are bright, and that’s what makes Loco Roco great! The music to the game is very catchy and enjoyable too, and just to add to the fun there’s also a few minigames that all end in you winning something great (be it a house part or even a Loco Roco)!

But wait – there’s more! If you know someone that wants to buy Loco Roco, you can let them try it out first by sending them the two demo levels! Hooray, now everyone’s satisfied!!

Okay, the gameplay isn’t that great – some levels look completely the same and it’s just too easy – but here I don’t think it matters because it is just so fun to play those addictive levels over and over again! It is because of this that I think this is one of the best games for the Psp!

But the worst part of this game has got to be that damned owl!!!! WHY HAS IT MADE MADE ME SLUG SHAPED!!!!!!!!!

RATING: 90%

Despite the cute visuals and amazing levels, this game does slowly get repetitive…

If you liked this, try Electroplankton, or New Super Mario Bros (but see my reviews first)!!!!
