on missions when your driving a vehicle and start being chased or doing a race or you youself chasing someone,go slow.its better to go slow ang get shot or lose sight of your target then to spin out round a corner an lose your target completely or waste time.

on the mission when you have to kidnap the mob bosses dhaughter for packie,go slow because on the second part of the mission(when she keeps veering your car)you can easily over turn your vehicle or fall in the water,but thankfully nico knocks the girl out so you can drive easily…

on a long way to fall mission,when you have to kill a thug. intimidate the guy in the blue hoody to get the info on the head thugs wherabouts,now you can kill the thug so he dont inform his mates about you and give you the element of suprise,but i think it just causes more hassle so let the thug live and keep using cover until you kill the head thug.

on the level where francis asks you to take out some guy overlooking his thugs on a balcony,buy a sniper rifle and go down a nearby alley and crouch down,there you should remain hidden without spooking the guy and kill him with ease,then just lose the cops.

on the level(i think its called final checkout or something)where youev got to kill all of isaacs cronies (and isaac)use cover and when you get to the room where isaac is,fire a rocket into the hallway(grenades just backfire)this should kill lots of the buggers.after killing isaac,DONT retrace you steps,theres loads of men there and you wont make it,just go to theplace where you killed the last man and you should see some enemys on the nearby roof,kill them and make your way down,you should see that elevator like machine,use that and after that,all you have to do is outrun the cops(which is less hassle then retracing your steps and fighting loads of men then avoiding the cops at the front door,however,if you do it my way,you should end up behind the hotel and not in the line of fire.

when francis asks you to take out that lawyer thats bugging him,go in and ask to see the lawyer,now an easy way of doing this mission is,if youeve still got that knife from the first few levels,stand up and equip that,then knife the lawyer to death,make sure he doesnt ecape,this is quiet so you wont get caught and have to run a gaunlet to escape,however,if you have to use a gun,you will have to,moving on,after the lawyers dead pick up the files and leave.easy.

6-THREE LEAF CLOVER

people may argue that this is the hardest level but i think its the most funnest.however,dont try to be a hero and stick around,just kill a couple of police men and keep on moving forward…

PART 1

firstly,drive to the bank.

PART 2

when it all kicks off,grab the money and head to the entrance of the bank,you should see *&^%loads of police,just fire using auto aim at the police and then head round the alley,dont stick around,even if theres one or two men left,then kill the other men and head down another alley,soon youll have to make your way down a street killing police as you go,then you should have to strafe across another street to another alley,firing as you go…

PART 3

quickly run into the subway and take out the two police men,then kill the men at the ticket booth,prepare to kill the squad of swat men coming up the staiers and make your way down to the platorm,now use the pillars for cover and take out more swat tams,after a short time,go into the tunnel and start firing and keep on running backwards,then just go up the service steps…

PART 4

just lose the cops and make your way back to packies.

GRAND THEFT AUTO(MORE!!!)

on the mission where vlad asks you to deal with the dry cleaner,goe to the shop than as soon as the cutscene ends,run out,and get on the car and keep ramming it till he stops,easy.

quite simple-follow the orders given to you and dont forget to pick up the gun in the alley close to the place you start off.then just go through the level usin cover and killin people.

when you have to defend the donut shop-just soprint over there and use cover till the van arrives!!!

yes war games are supposed to make you feel unstoppable but know your limits.its no good charging at a tank without even a anti tank weapon so even if you do reach the tank all your gonna get is that sense of dread as you get blatted by a shell.just take cover and wait till the tank is occupied with some other poor sapp.

let the other ai guys do the hard work and it doesnt really matter if they die cos some lacky will replace them,but if you die youll have to start all over again!!!

DONT GO GUN CRAZY.

ijust picture this….youev wasted all you antitank weapons on one soldier in a building just because he killed you last time round.so after that little victory(which makes you feel bad inside)you start to here a rumble and 3 TIGER TANKS come rolling in killing most of your men so fast they die as soon as they respawn so now your holed up in a building with whats left of your men being constantly hit by shells and the building is falling apart while you chuck some poxy grenades at the tiger tanks.basically game over.

so conserve your ammo.

GO CAREFULLY IN BUILDINGS

here a little story for you..i was playing rainbow six las vegas 2 when i aked my men to go down a corridor without opening every door,as soon as they passed the first window a terrorist popped ot wounded one man with a shotgun shell and then when i finally reched my buddy we were surronded by terrorists and a sniper shooting through the window-luckily i manage to chuck a few grenades and abseil down the window.

but usually you arnt so lucky so go carfully.

LOOK AT ALL ASPECTS TO SURVIVE

sometimes youll be told to charge a machinegun post and cos everyone else is doin it you follow….dead.check for a cover or possibly a alley way you can slip through to get behind the enemy(this is espeacially good for tanks)

COMBATGROUNDS

this is basically hobo wars but instead its based about the army(u can be a navy seal,terrorist or soldier)and you build recruits,do mission get weapons of mass destruction and kill anything tht moves.

u use turns to perform actions (such as recruit or make money)and then you have to train ur recruits ready for killing another helpless player.

its generally like hobowars but more war based so if ur a army guy or like the army then u should definitely play it.

URBAN DEAD-basically a browser game
recently ev been addicted to mmorpgs…and this is one of them.

well ill usually sum up this online game like all my other…WITH A STOOOORRRRRRRYYYY(lol).

you used the free run ability to get into a police dept what was very heavily barricaded.some survivors are there but that wont help u cos loads of zombies are amassing outside,u use the radio to call for any bak up but u know they wont come.you search the area as the zombies attack relentlessly against the barricade and find a flak jacket-a shotgun (with ammo)and some pistol rounds.the radio cracks into life,some clan is coming to help you out soon but u also know thatll be to late as the zombies barge through the barricad.you fire off a few shots and kill one or two(while running out of turns)and the rest of the survivors are either zombies or have ran.u run still running out os turns u try to find a safegouse and find a fire station.you enter it but find some survivors….pkers.they shoot you in the back and chuck you out…dead.but you get up…now ur a zombie.before you finnally run out of turns for the day you see a mass of never ending zombies swarm over the firestation…u join in.

that really sums it up.u basically can be a survivor or zombie (so u never lose)and survivors just get supplys barricade and generally cower while zombies just generally kill.however u do have only 50 turns per day so u either spend those turns gettin supplys or running to a different safe hose to get some different supplys or if ur a zombie just generally prying on any victims to run out of turns in a non barricaded house or street.

but theres also a twist,u can become unzombified by other survivors and there are clan roaming the place,u get zombie clans(kill anything)pro survivor clan(help survivors)or pkers(kill survivors and zombies)which spices things up cos now u have to face zombis and pkers.

also theres different types of zones in the city.u get ghost town(empty-mostly in ruins and very little activity)hot spots(packed with activity ultra amounts of zombies and survivors fighting it out)tepid zones(medium activity)and green zones(practically zombie free)

the only bad thing is the turns a DAY SO ill rate it…

URBAN DEAD UPDATES ON THE MAP AND POINTS OF INTREST

well to keep u informed about urban dead and to keep you from straying into a pkers layer then listen up….

in south blythsville in mudford plaza police dept is a pker what will kill you,either be prepared to fight him or steer clear of him.

also the mall in south blyhsville is a fortress so if you want to get in your gonna have to break down a barricade to get inside.

if your a zombie and want to become alive again then go to a cemetary-the one i went to is in north blythsville to the west,however your gonna have to free run just to get inside a building after ur alive again,try looking at a ruined building to get inside then use free run to get to the more safe and secure buildings near it.

‘GEARS OF WAR2

this game is rather gory

smoke billows throughout the map as you sprint passed hails of bullets and a teammate goes down before the hammer of dawn goes off.

you get inside before the mortars go off and the rest of whats left of your team searches the place for useful defenses.suddenly a locust bursts out of nowhere and swings his lancer at u-your now in a chainsaw duel and u desperately press the b button to avoid dissembowlment.

u manage to kill the locust and another group of locusts come at u-u fire off hail of rounds then realize ur out of ammo.

this is only the multiplayer and the game is as gory as hell! kill a guy with a chainsaw and u can see his intestines !

even the solo campaign is impressive with its tight story and plot and also the way it improves level by level with better and bigger fights with increasingly difficult bosses(the one in the underground lake is very hard)

all together this game is fun-gory-full of explosions and has very good graphics so fun ill rate this…

96%-fun all the way with only minor annoyances

CARRYING ON

call of combat is is rather faced paced and fun.yes the graphics are like a ps 1 game but it still manages to suck you in,whether your holding off oncoming waves of germans or charging a pow camp avoiding nades and machine gun fire.

it can be a bit fiddly but after a while youll be going at it like napoleon.the only real bad thing is that its games rooms have very little amounts of people in it or have certain ranks needed to join.

however for a free online strategy shooter-its the best iev seen whats free and its just a bit like brothers in arms but without the first person shooter.

its full of maps and has a certain excitement to it which will happily suck in the strategists,whether your the germans or the united states.

CALL OF JUAREZ BOUND IN BLOOD(WELL ITS PRONOUNCED OUREZ)

basic storyline is like most spaghetti westerns,3 brothers on a quest to find ancient aztec gold in juarez and two of the brothers thomas and ray dessert from their posts to defend their house from the union soldiers in the american civil war,que bitter confederate general named barnsby goes after them to see them hanged with the feeble dream of restarting the confederate army.meanwhile the apches are trying to get rifles from a bandit leader named juarez whos also looking for the gold, of course i could go into all the storyline but in laymens terms all their paths cross and crap hits the fan for the apaches,juarez getrs popped by ray and barnsby holds a dramatic showdown in an aztec chamber full of gold with sand slowly rising consuming everything there.ahem.

now theres a very intresting gameplay for you,you can pick between either thomas or ray,each has their own ups and downs for instance thomas is the more agile but weaker brother and uses a lasso to get to hard to reach places and has a very good hand for rifles while ray has body armor and can wield duel pistols,but is slow and isnt very accurate but can kick down doors and well chuck dynamite.(the third brother isnt playable but is a main figure in the story and gives the narrative as he trys to steer his unlawful brothers into the light because hes more or less a reverand well he isnt but you know hes kind of a vicar)

also theres a concentration mode to play with,rack up the kills and you can stop/slow down time and get some instant kills on crowds of enemies.when playing as ray you slow down time and have to manually target enemies before time resumes and you kick ass while as thomas you automatically aim at enemies and time stops and all you have to do is pull back the hammer to fire off rounds at the unlucky sods.sadly it times you before you lose you concentration meter so you cant be to picky on where you use it.

theres also joint concentration moments in certain key points where it slows down time and you pick off enemies before the time runs out,the more you kill the easier it is to clear the area.

there also duel moments,these are also key moments in the game where you do a duel with someone old spaghetti western style and the have to control your hand and keep it near your gun while making sure the enemy keeps in your sights.when the bells go youev gotta reach for your gun before the other guy does and pop him one where it hurts it requires quick reflexes and iev lost lots of duels before finally winning em but its like riding a bike after a while.

theres also free roaming parts in the game where theres randomly generated bandit attacks odd jobs to be done and better guns to buy,theres also brilliant views even if its a game.

the graphics are good the gaming is fast paced and its like a western call of duty but the negative side is there should be a co op but there isnt and the online gaming is a wasteland but otherwise its a very good filler in preperation for call of duty modern warfare2 and has replay value with secrets to unlock and achievents to unlock as well.

RATING-8/10-could have a co op in it and really should have a bigger online gaming community.

TIMESHIFT

pretty old now but still a game to look at

ever had the problem when theres to many enemies shooting at you?ever felt completely overpowered by enemy forces?welcome to timeshift.

but theres a twist,say your being attacked by 15 enemies with machineguns,rockets shotguns you name it they have it and your completely surrounded,just pause time,walk over to an enemy and take his shotgun from him,he cant do anything hes stuck in time,then blast him in the face with it then rusume time,he goes flying and one of the enemies shout “how the hell did he get over there?“3 rockets fly at you,then you slowdown time and sidestep a few times as the rockets move incredibly slowly past you,into one of their tanks.you resume time yet again and watch the tank blow up sending 9 enemies flying dead,like the look of the explosion but want to see it again?rewind time and watch the explosion again.now the enemies crapping themselves!after speedily ahnilating the rest of the resistance you blow a gun outta one of the enemies hands then resume time after picking up his weapon.“im unarmed!“he crys,you watch him a while,then blast him in the face,then you rewind time to when you didnt blast him in the face….and do it again.

set in an alternative time stream where a mad doctor has made his own little world by using a time travelling suit its up to you to stop him,armed with a powerful beta suit you must work with the failing freedom fighters to destroy doctor krone and get back to your time and timestream.

now the main seller of this game is the ability to slow down time and rewind and pause it for a limited time of course but its still as fun as hell,what its crappy voice acting,incredibly tough enemies and hard as nails difficulty it makes up for in sure fun!its a fun game it may be slightly challenging but its just fun!hell it even has puzzle moments to get your noggin working!

the graphics are very good but the enemies have too much health and even on easy difficulty its hard plus some parts of the game may get you confused but eventually you get past it and most of the time youll be laughing your arse off on how you can just walk up to someone and take their weapon and rewind their grseome death…and re do it.

RATING-8/10-not much replay value except to do the time things,great graphics,bad voice acting,tough as nails enemies,but fun and humouress with a gaming type of its own its not a game to keep you occupied forever but a very good filler if your waiting for new games to come out and is fast paced.
