I love bug catching. It’s just that feeling when you catch a bug and realise that you havent caught one before! Some are also very rare, and that is why I made this short guide to help you out!

Looking to fill out your collection of bugs? This list should help you figure out when and where to find every bug in the game. When you’ve caught a bug, bring it to Blathers in the town museum. You can donate any new finds to fill up the museum display and complete your collection. Unfortunately, bugs generally aren’t worth very much money if sold to Tom Nook. Because they’re so worthless, it’s usually not a good idea to focus your money-making efforts on catching and selling bugs. Bugs are just too rare and too cheap to be worth your time.

The Season column refers to the months and time of day when the bugs may appear in your game. Dawn hours are between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM, Midday hours are between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Dusk hours are between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM and Night hours last from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
